All in One Multi Functional Printer Scanners

All in One Multi Functional Printer Scanners are like a car that's also a Boat.

Even if it works, it doesn't do any job extremely well. Same has been my experience with these technological marvels that try to be everything to everyone.

If you were to compare your present day office to the offices of just a couple of years ago, one of the big differences would be the types of office equipment considered as critical to get the job done. Earlier offices typically had a printer for each user, a fax machine for every couple of users, a scanner per head and maybe even a large copier that everyone took turns using. All that however changed when all in one printers came along.

All in one printer scanners are exactly what the name implies. They usually can also fax, and handle printing while scans and even makes coffee! Ok, the coffee thing I just threw in. Point is that these multi talented pieces of hardware can actually do all these things though not at the same time.

The printer- scanner works together but as you might expect the software to get these to behave together aren't necessarily compatible. Ever have problems with several pieces of software that would not play well together? This is the life of having an all in 1 printer scanner equipment.

Understand that these all in one machines do work well, when they work. Don't think for a moment however that you will be able to start a print job and fax at the same time. These are basically serial machines. This means you can do one job and only one job at a time.

Thus is the life or an owner of a multi functional printer, copier and scanner. And when the last brainwave of adding the fax machine to the combination struck someone, the all in one printer had truly arrived. Along the way, the all in one printer or the multi functional printer as it is commonly known got networking capabilities, integrated color management abilities and even security features. Which meant that administrative people could not just control the supplies, they could also control who used what function.

WOW you might think. It's good if you can't afford high quality specific equipment. Be aware that most fax machines are little more than software and that modem you probably replaced for that modern broadband connection. That's right. To get a multi-function printer scanner, fax coffee maker to send or receive faxes, it must be connected to a phone line.

In the end, you need to decide if these marvels of Rube Goldberg are worth the hassle. Remember that even with today's cellular phones that are MP3 players and day planners, over 90% of the people who own them only use them as a PHONE. My advise is to spend a little extra money and get yourself quality equipment for your business.

Q. As sole owner of a business, do I need to have a power of attorney for business purposes? Running a business requires the performance of various day-to-day tasks that the individual business owner/operator comes to regard as routine.
