If you want to increase your chances of success, learn how to start a small business the right way and not jump into something that can destroy you financially.

First, are you happy with your current job? I ask this question because so many individuals are not. In fact, folks all around the world would certainly quit their job if they could. This is a prime reason why it's important to do what you love. If you aren't, you surely won't be a happy camper. In fact, you could be wasting your life. Now if I remember right, we only get one of these. Shouldn't you spend it doing something you enjoy? Think about the DIOFFERENCES between your present job and working for yourself. For example no paycheck, long hours in your own business, little to no time off, etc. Then make your decision if you want to continue.

One idea that works for many is a part time type business. Something that has the potential to eventually turn a great enough profit and replace at least a good portion of your current income. True freedom is not HAVING to go to your job whether at a corporate cubicle, mowing lawns, or your own business. A work from home part time business is certainly feasible these days. The sad reality is that many of these business moguls and CEOs don't really care.

Anyone who works in that type of environment and DOESN'T plan for another income source is whistling past the graveyard hoping bad things won't happen. So if you want to provide better than wishing, maybe you need to take some time and learn how to start a small business of your own.
